"We went here while visiting Hawaii from the recommendation from our Uber driver. It was a 20 minute walk from our hotel and the minute we arrived at 9:30am and there were people lined up out the door, that this place was worth waiting for. They utilize the Yelp waiting list function and we had to wait 40 minutes for a table. Trust me, it's definitely worth the wait. Once seated, we were greeted by our server (who was new), she was bubbly and very sweet. My BIL ordered the Denver omelette with tots. My SIL ordered plain pancakes. My wife ordered the Macadamia crusted pancakes with a side of bacon. I ordered the Pork Belly Oinker. First off, our server was new and my coffee was delayed to the point I had to ask where it was. Not a big deal, she will get her system down in due time. My BIL loved the addition of red and yellow bell peppers into the omelette. He stated that it was a delicious addition. He said the tots were crispy and flavorful. My SIL said the pancakes were really good and 3 pancakes were plenty. My wife absolutely loved the pancakes with the macadamias. She said the pancake batter had a hint of vanilla and I tried a couple of bites. If I wasn't so full, I would've finished off what she left. They were that good. My pork belly oinker was off the charts good. They gave me 8 large pieces of perfectly cooked pork belly in a teriyaki glaze that rocked my world. The eggs were a tad undercooked, but the fried rice made up for it. The rice was perfectly cooked and infused with pieces of ham and carrots. Now I see why the line was out the door and the wait was more than worth it. We're here for a week and I'm pretty sure we will be back."

"Food: Food was delicious! I would recommend the ube pancakes, hash browns and loco moco! Service: It got very busy after 8am. I would recommend getting on the yelp check-in even if you have parties greater than 8. We had a party of 11 but had to split tables anyway so we ended upwaited longer for just to sit near esch other in separate tables. Ambiance: Modern diner vibes"
